Thomas Hampton Huff, 89, died December 9, 2006.
A longtime resident of Athens, GA, he was a son of the late Harry Hampton and Ruth Mae Calvert Huff. He worked for many years as an Electronic Technician at the University of Georgia and was previously employed with Vital Industries in Gainesville, FL, where he also owned a Standard Oil Service Station. Mr. Huff was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in World War II. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Charles and Edwin.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 10, 2006, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Rev. Ted Tedder officiating. Interment will be in Huff Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time.
Survivors include four sisters, Betty Ann Sims, Ruth Loraine Huff, Zue Nash, and Annette Parham; brother, Herschel Huff; sister-in-law, Bee Huff; a number of nieces and nephews.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
