Thomas J. "Grandpa" Eberhart, 84, died March 5, 2005.
A lifelong resident of Madison County, he was the son of the late George T. and Cornelia Patterson Eberhart and was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Nelms and grandson, Tom Childers. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
Graveside services will be Monday, March 7, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Colbert Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Brunson officiating.
Survivors include his daughter, Peggy Eberhart Childers; granddaughter Susan (Mark) Beach and great-grandchildren, Ashli, Matthew and Caroline.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
