Thomas A. DeMars

Thomas A. “Bigd217.”  DeMars, II, 49, husband of 23 years to Allison Benson DeMars, died suddenly Thursday, September 13, 2018. Born in Ft. Belvoir, VA, he was the son of Thomas A. DeMars and Darlene DeMars of Florida.  Mr. DeMars was the General Manager for Bigge Crane and Rigging and worked in the industry for over 30 years.   He enjoyed camping, riding his dirt bike, mowing his lawn,spending time with his family and sharing a daily devotional with friends and family. He attended Athens Church  and his motto was "God, Family and Everything Else."  In addition to his wife and parents, survivors include two sons: Tommy DeMars and Josh DeMars; brother: Tony (Jen) DeMars of St. Petersburg, FL and nephew, Ben DeMars.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 4:00 at Lord & Stephens West. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
