Winterville, GA - Thomas Marcus Bonner, Jr., 80, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008.
A native of Thompson, GA, he was a son of the late Lucy Compton and Thomas Marcus Bonner, Sr., and was preceded in death by his wife, Janelle Griffeth Bonner and sister, Betty Smith. Mr. Bonner owned and operated Athens Auto Exchange for fifty-eight years and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 24, 2008, at 1:30PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include three children, Becky (Dan) Bradley of Suwanee, GA, Jan Bonner of Lawrenceville, GA, and Marc (Leann) Bonner of Lexington, GA; devoted companion, Sue Dean of Winterville; grandchildren, Leslie (Chad) Wagner, Sean Dement, Ali Bonner, Daniel Bradley, and Gracie Bonner.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
