Hull - Theodore S. Spratlin, 86, passed away April 16, 2008.
A native of Madison County, he was a son of the late David Pope and Lucy Williams Spratlin, and was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Spratlin. Mr. Spratlin was a brick mason for over 60 years and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served under General George Patton during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Athens.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 18, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Spratlin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Thomas Vaughan of Braselton, and Charissa and Steve Thomas of Knoxville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Jason Spratlin, Christy Spratlin and Amadea Goresh.
The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Israel Relief Fund, c/o Midnight Call Ministries, PO Box 280008, Columbia, S.C. 29228.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
