Thelma Dockery Rhodes

Baytown, Texas - Thelma Rhodes, 84, of Baytown, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at her residence.
She was born February 16, 1923 in Jefferson County, Georgia, to her late Parents: Juan Dockery and Julia Lowe Dockery. Mrs. Rhodes grew up in the Athens, Georgia area, was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church in Athens and had resided in Baytown for the last 9 years.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Corinth Baptist Church in Athens with burial to follow at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Athens. Rev. Richard McFall will officiate.
She is survived by: Husband: Clarence Rhodes, of Baytown; Sons: Bob Rhodes and his wife, Debbie, of Baytown, and Don Rhodes and his wife, Vivian, of Kissimmee, Florida; Sister: Bertha Jones, of Athens; Brother: Roland Dockery and his wife, Sandy, of Athens; and Grandchildren: Amanda Rhodes, Amber Rhodes and Alissa Rhodes, all of Baytown, and Steven Rhodes and Shannon Rhodes, both of Kissimmee.
Visitation will be held 6ñ8 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown and 6ñ8 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2007 at the Lord & Stephens East Chapel in Athens.
