Thelma Lovern, age 83, died Sunday, October 14, 2012. A native of Morgan County, Mrs. Lovern was the daughter of the late Grady and Etheleen Adams. Mrs. Lovern was retired from Family Life Enrichment Center and was a retired seamstress.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Hershel Lovern; daughters, Sara (Wayne) Barrett and Carolyn (Jeff) Meeler; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Mize, Justin Meeler, and Bridget Meeler and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Trey Mize.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Burial will follow at Oconee Memorial Park cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 15 from 6-8 p.m.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
