Thelma Bailey (Bailey) Carney

Thelma Bailey Carney, 93, of Colbert, died Monday, January 18, 2016.
Born in Lilburn, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Leola Bailey. Mrs. Carney was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was married to her first husband, George White, until his death in 1977. In 1982, she married her second husband, Sam Carney, and they were married until his death in 2002.
Survivors include her children, Elaine (Richard) Rowe, Mary Lee White, and Warren White; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 4 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
