Terry Lee Wehunt

Terry L. Wehunt, 66, retired Athens Technical College instructor, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

He attended the University of Georgia, received his bachelor’s degree from Oglethorpe University, a masters from Georgia State University and a doctorate from North Central University. He was a son of the late Dr. Ralph Wehunt and Bettie Reeves Wehunt of Winterville, GA.

Survivors include his brother, Wayne; and his partner, Amanda White.

At his request, his body will be cremated, and no public services will be conducted.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Athens Tech Foundation, 800 US Hwy 29 N, Athens, GA 30601.
