Athens, GA - Terrie McAllister Barber, 60, died February 20, 2015.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Bobbie Jean McAllister of Watkinsville and the late Charles W. McAllister and preceded in death by a sister, Jeannie Hayes. Terrie worked with Athens Clarke County School District food service for 30 years, most recently with Gaines School Elementary. She loved craft working.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Barber; sons, Michael Brock and Cody Barber of Athens; brothers, Geoff McAllister of Helen, David McAllister of Watkinsville and sister, Linda Andrews of Watkinsville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday beginning at 4:00 PM with services held in the chapel at 5:00.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Focus on the Fight, which is a non profit organization dedicated to returning time to cancer patients and their families by taking care of day to day tasks at no cost, so that time can be focused on the important things; the fight, family, quality of life. focusonthefight.org.
