Teresa Hilley Hix

Teresa Hilley Hix, 37, passed away Monday morning, November 7, 2005. She was the daughter of Don and Marie Hilley of Danielsville and the loving wife of Velton Hix, III.
A lifelong resident of Madison County, she was a graduate of 1986 graduate of Madison County High School and a 1991 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. She was formerly employed as a pharmacist with the Medicine Shoppe in Danielsville.
Mrs. Hix was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church in Danielsville, where she was involved in Awana's and other ministries.
Mrs. Hix bravely battled cancer for over eight years. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 10, 2005, at 3:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church. Pastors Robby Brown, David Bailey and Scott Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Survivors in addition to her parents and husband include a son, Velton Hix, IV; daughter, Fairand Hix; sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Shane Slade of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany (formerly of Cordele, GA); grandmother, Darlene Hilley of Danielsville; niece, Tehya Slade. She was the granddaughter of the late Roy and Lucille Spears, and Wilburn Hilley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church in memory of Theresa Hix, for a scholarship fund for her children.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
