Tammie Jo Pogue

Tammie Jo Pogue, 66, of Madison, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
Born March 21, 1958 to Ira and Lorna Pogue, Tammie was raised in Atlanta. She was a career educator and finished her career at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School. She always enjoyed talking to and educating any young mind, especially her beloved ninth and tenth graders. Tammie retired to Madison, GA two years ago.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Burt Pogue.
She is survived by her brother Chris Pogue (Lynn) of Dacula, sister Candi Hayes (Rodney) of Bogart, nephew Matthew Pogue of Dublin and niece Lucy Hayes of Bogart. 
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21, at Honey Creek Woodlands in Conyers at 1:00 p.m.
