Tamara Lynne Pegram Sailors, 54, died peacefully on October 9, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was
born September 19, 1968, in Charlotte North Carolina, the oldest daughter of James Leigh Pegram and
Linda Linker Harris Pegram.
Tamara met many personal challenges in her life, yet she received an Associate's Degree in Business
Management from Georgia State University. "There are no academic heights, given the chance that
Tamara could not scale" written by one of her many professors. Tamara had a strong personality for
perseverance and determination with a sincere desire to contribute significantly to community outreach
programs, especially for women. Tamara dreamed of owning a business that would help women from all
backgrounds succeed in both their professional and personal lives.
Tamara is preceded in death by her mother Linda Harris Pegram.
Survived by her father, James L. Pegram, Son, Kristopher S. Pegram, and his wife, Kourtney Pegram,
Daughter, Brittany N. Patterson, Sister Meredith L. Morris and her husband, Michael Morris.
Granddaughters, Grace Pegram, Emma Pegram, and Hope Pegram. Shealynn Foster, Nama Melendez
and Cataleya Melendez. Nieces and Nephews, Megan Pegram, Ansley Morris, and Christian Morris.
A service of remembrance will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Lord & Stephens
Funeral Home 1211 Jimmy Daniel Road Watkinsville, Ga. 30677. Lord and Stephens, West is in charge of arrangements.
