Susie (Madden) Hancock

Susie Madden Hancock, 88, died August 11, 2012.
A native of Elberton, GA, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Effie McKelly Madden. She was preceded in death by a son, Dwight Hancock and a grandson, Phillip Hancock.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Homer O. Hancock; two brothers, Albert Madden of Elberton and Paul Madden of Atlanta; grandchild, Chris Hancock of Elberton; caregivers, Bill Madden, Tina McCall Vickery, Shannette Gresham, Yonda Davenport, Gaybreal Appling; numerous nieces and nephews in surrounding areas.
The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
Flowers will be accepted. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
