Susie Kate Carithers, 86, of Ila Ga, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Hill Haven Nursing Center. She was born October 13, 1927 to Edgar and Clyde Kincaid Faulkner of Colbert Ga. She retired from Ila Sportswear and attended Ila Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Anna and Aubrey Thomason, grandchildren Ginger (Gary) Miller, Lisa (Chris) Fortson, and Jason (Valerie) Thomason, great-grandchildren Jenna, Jake, Tyler, Max and Eli, sisters Sara Audulewicz, Lillian Randall, Jean Jordan, and brother Monroe (Johnnie Sue) Faulkner.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 P.M. with service to follow at 2:00 at the Danielsville Chapel, Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Interment will follow at Colbert Cemetery.

The family would like to thank her caregivers at Hill Haven Nursing Center.
