Susan Delle Webb

Susan Delle Webb of Flowery Branch, Ga. died on December 20, 2024, in Athens, Ga. Born on August 25, 1960, she was the daughter of John J. and Nancy K. Webb of Watkinsville, Ga.

Susan graduated from Oconee County High School in 1978 and from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga. and obtained a master's degree in education from Piedmont College in Demorest, Ga. She was an avid reader and was a member of Lake Lanier Ladies Book Club. The Spout Springs library was one of her favorite places to go and read.

She is survived by her parents, a sister Judy Webb Smith of Panama City Beach, Fl., niece Lauren Smith and nephews Jarrett Smith and Frank Smith. As an animal lover, Susan enjoyed having and caring for her cats.

An active member of the Gainesville First Presbyterian Church, her desire is that contributions, in lieu of flowers, be made to the church at 800 South Enota Ave., Gainesville, Ga. 30501. A memorial service will be held at the church on December 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

The service will be officiated by Reverend Shon Peppers. A time for visitation with the family will occur immediately after the service.

Inurnment will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10AM at Evergreen Memorial Park.
