Susan Elaine Trammell

Susan Elaine Trammell, 68, of Winterville, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

Born in Athens, she was a daughter of the late Carl W. and Maybell Jordan. Susan was the matriarch of her beloved family and she adored her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Oscar Trammell.

Survivors include her children, William Bruce Trammell (April) and Melissa Sue Stanfield (Michael); sisters, Carolyn Perry and Charlene Trammell; grandchildren, George Trammell, Austin Trammell and Gracie Stanfield; several nieces and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
