Sue Griffith Thompson, 93, of Athens, died November 21, 2016.
Born in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late R.A. (Bob) and Annie Harris Griffith. She was the widow of Allen Costa Thompson and was preceded in death by brothers, Jack and J.W. (Jake) Griffith. Mrs. Thompson was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina Sue Callaway (Tim) of Athens and grandson, Cody Allen Callaway (Kelli) of Winterville.
The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, EAST, Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 2:00 until 3:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park.
