Stephen F. Willis passed away January 30, 2009 after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer.
Stephen was born January 10, 1947 in Seattle, WA and was employed as a project engineer for Q. A. Technology in Hampton, NH. Stephen was a licensed professional engineer with degrees in business, as well as mechanical and electrical engineering from Kansas and Missouri Universities. He had a lifelong passion for aircraft and sailing and pursued a hobby of R. C. flying and sailing. Stephen will be remembered for a special project to build a full scale helicopter flown in World War II. He loved engineering, solving challenging problems with his co-workers, spending time with his brothers and their families, and will be missed.
He is survived by his brothers, Mark A. Willis of Athens, GA and Randolph G. Willis of Kansas City, MO as well as by his nieces, Julie Simek, Karen Willis and Helen Willis, and nephew David Willis.
