Stephen Carroll Wheeler, age 54, of Suwanee, GA had his faith made sight on April 20, 2013. Steve will be missed and celebrated by his wife, Donna Whiten Wheeler; his children, Brandy (Burton) Holloway, Laura (Michael) Healy, Craig Wheeler and Daniel Wheeler; grandchildren, Suzy Holloway and Autumn Healy; grand-dog, Charlie Wheeler; mother Betty (Mac) McCants; sister, Anne (Bill) Williams, brothers Sam Wheeler and Kenneth Wheeler. And he was proceeded in death by his father, Oliver Stephen Wheeler, father-in-law, Felix Whiten and mother-in-law, Susie Whiten. Not to mention the countless friends, co-workers, clients, and family members that knew him.
Steve will be remembered as a man who loved deeply, worked hard in everything, and cared for all. Everything Steve said and did was because of his great love for Jesus Christ and his deepest desire was that through this love people would know Jesus. He is a man that will be missed.
Steve was a long time resident of Gwinnett county. He was the founder and owner Wheeler Woodworks.
Funeral services will be held at North Metro Baptist Church, Thursday, April 25 at 2pm. Burial will follow at 4:30pm at Athens Memory Gardens. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 2 - 4pm and 6 - 8pm at the church.

It was Steve's wish to help the mission project "To Russia with Love" that's raising money to purchase a tractor for a men's home in Russia. Lord and Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
