Stephen Russell Ryan

Stephen Russell Ryan, 74, husband of the late Anna Sue Ryan, died June 24, 2020. Born in Oswego, Indiana, he was the son of the late Eugene Ryan and Janice Helvey Ryan. He was a graduate of Leesburg High School in Leesburg, IN.  Mr. Ryan was a machinist by trade and retired as a Quality Assurance Manager. He was a master scuba diver and private pilot.  His passion was ridding his motorcycle and being a member of the Southern Cruisers Ridding Club #439.

Survivor include his children: Stevie (Diane) Ryan, Lisa Whitfield and Shannon (Jerry) Eishen; brother: Lowell Eugene “Rusty” Ryan; five grandchildren and his dachshund, Skitter Ditter.

A memorial ride and service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020.  The memorial ride will begin at 3PM at Southside Church, 8144 Jefferson Road (Hwy 129) and end at Union Christian Church Cemetery where a graveside service will be held. The family welcomes everyone that attends to wear a yellow shirt in his memory.
