Stella Lucille (Reynolds) Strickland

Stella Lucille Strickland, 83, of Colbert, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016.
Born in Crouse, NC, she was a daughter of the late George Morris Reynolds and Devera Crump Reynolds. Mrs. Strickland was a member of Word of Life Church, and she enjoyed reading her Bible. Most importantly, she loved her family and her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hokey Gene Strickland; one son, Timothy Lee Strickland; and one sister, Estelle Reinahardt.
Survivors include her children, Robert Gene (Wanda) Strickland, Judy Ann Bond, and Rebecca Lynn (Jimmy) Epps; five sisters; two brothers; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville with Rev. Herman Nation officiating. Interment will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. Jones Chapel United Methodist Church will be providing a meal for family and friends following the interment.
