Stacey Teaster Gordon

Stacey Teaster Gordon, born on January 10, 1970 in Norfolk, Virginia met Jesus face to face on the morning of March 24, 2022, at the age of 52. She was the daughter of the late Ray & Jane Teaster. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kevin Gordon, Nicholson, Ga.; her children, Kyle (Tabitha Weeks) Gordon, Danielsville, Ga.; Haley (Charlie) Hulme, Hartwell, Ga.; her grandchildren, Cooper (8), Hadley (3) and Harper (6M); her sisters Laurie (Greg) Tolbert, Athens, Ga.; Jan (Jeff) Wiggins, Lilburn, Ga.; and Jo (Keith) Holloman, Crawford, Ga. Also surviving are seven nieces and nine nephews.

Stacey graduated from Cedar Shoals High School in Athens, Ga. She worked for the Madison County Board of Education and was the smiling face you saw when you walked in the doors of Hull Sanford Elementary School for 18 years! She was a member of Danielsville Evangelical Church, where she worked in the children’s ministry and led many little hearts to know the Lord. She was a diligent and faithful servant of the Lord. Stacey had an infectious smile and a giving heart. She was the best wife, mother, sister, GiGi and friend. She took pride in her family and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grand babies. While we will miss her here on earth, we hold fast to the promise that we will see her again one day!

Family will be accepting those who loved Stacey at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home in Danielsville, Ga. on Saturday, March 26th from 5PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March, 27th at 2PM at Danielsville Evangelical Church, with Pastor Dwayne Dickerson and Pastor Keith Nix officiating the service. Burial will follow the service at the church.
