Spc. Jacob Andrew Osborne, 20, died Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of Allan F. and Amanda Howard Yager of Flagler Beach, FL and David Osborne of Danielsville. Jacob was a 2010 graduate of Oglethorpe County High School and member of New Life Christian Fellowship, Crawford, GA. Upon graduating from high school, Jacob joined the US Army and was currently a Power Generator Mechanic. He enjoyed sports, video games and playing on his computer. Jacob had a true Love for God and all his family and friends.
Survivors in addition to his parents include; sisters: Ashley Osborne of Athens, Holly (Ricky) Blowers of Cherry Point, NC; brother: Chase Yager of Athens; paternal grandparents: George and Gaye Yager and Ann Drake; maternal grandparents: Nancy Howard; aunts and uncles: Nina Stewart, Terry Howard, Lisa (Tommy) Rich, Donna (Stanley) Wilkes, David (Kate) Yager and many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Jamie Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 Friday, May 4, 2012 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
