Shirley Elizabeth Whitfield

Shirley Elizabeth Whitfield, 65, when home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 13, 2012.
A native of Athens, she was the daughter of the late James O. and Wilma Bruce Seagraves. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Regina Jackson. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Don Whitfield, daughters, Rhonda Daniel, Kristy Muller, Shea Thornton; sisters: Kathy Jenkins, Martha Allen, Becky Harrell; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 2PM at Friendship Baptist Church with Revs. Jeff Wells, Ray Finger and Lee Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Saturday at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
