Athens - Shirley A. Stammer, 78, wife of Charles H. Stammer died Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Frank Leroy and Anne Bader Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, son, David Bruce Stammer of Dallas, TX, daughter, Nancy Stammer Osborn of Marietta, GA and brother, Richard Mitchell of Indianapolis, IN.
The family will be receiving friends in honor of Shirley, Saturday, February 18, 2006 from 2 to 4PM at her residence, 718 Riverhill Drive.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
