Shirley Lorena Mason Smith, 64, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
Born in Athens to the late Charlie B. and Ann Harris Mason. She was a devoted employee of A.C.T. Homecare Corp. and member of Clouds Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include: stepmother, Carlette Mason; sons: Wesley and children, James, Maybelle, J.W. and Annie of Winterville; Windell (Kathy), and children Ashley and Austin of Comer; Patrick of Florida; daughter: Pamela (Joel) Pitcher and children, Haley and Joel of Maine; siblings: Mary Ann (Pat) Fortson, Lewis (Mary) Mason, Dorothy Mason, Warren (Eleanor) Mason all of Crawford.
A memorial service will be held at Clouds Creek Baptist Church, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 5PM with Rev. John Parker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to A.C.T. Homecare Corp., 1075 Gaines School Road, Athens, GA 30605, Attn: Helen Springs.
