Shirley Patricia "Patsy" Harris, 76, died November 18, 2010.
A native of Madison County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Eula Mae Strickland and Hershel R. Bullock, Sr. and was the widow of David Stanley Harris, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tracey Manus; sisters, Bobbie Jean Herring and Carolyn Herring; brother, Dickie Bullock. Mrs. Harris retired from Rich's Department Store and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, November 21, 2010, at 3:30 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, with Rev. Tim Vaughn officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include four children, Sheila Boyd, Susan (Ham) Prince, Sherry (Tim) Duckett, and Sandra (Alan) Hudson; two sisters, Elizabeth "Boots" Dean and Lois Potts; twelve grandchildren, David (Lisa) Boyd, Philip Boyd, Steven (Kendall) Boyd, Wesley Boyd, Kasey Prince, Shelley Prince, and Austin Prince; Jonathan (Brooke) Duckett and Harrison Duckett, Joe (Carolyn) Manus, Erin Hudson and Shannon Hudson; great grandchildren, Isabelle Bliss Boyd, Captain David Boyd, Blaire Aubree Boyd, Bree Addison Boyd and Ruby Belle Manus; a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and Sunday for one hour prior to the funeral service.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
