Sherry Jean Evans

Sherry Jean Evans, 69, of Winterville, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Born in Augusta, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Thomas Hobbs and Clara Hobbs. Sherry was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her birth mother, Bessie Hobbs; brother, William Hobbs and her step-brother, Joe Burkett.

Survivors include her children, Jason Evans (Christy), Adam Evans (Millie) and Ansley Warren (Chris); grandchildren, Karlie, Erin, Ethan, Ashlin and Aiden; one brother, Ken Burkett (Sally) and one sister-in-law, Cathy Burkett.

Graveside services will be private.
