Sherida Jean "Sheri" Schultheis

Sherida "Sheri" Jean Schultheis died at her home on Friday, September 30th Hull, Georgia at the age of 67.
Sheri was born on December 9, 1948 in Kirksville, Missouri to Weldon Sherwood and Bernice Burks. Besides Hull, GA she also lived in Moberly, MO; Wichita, KS; Warner Robins, GA; Fairbanks, AK; Alamogordo, NM and Dothan, AL. Although retired for several years, she worked as a riveter at Cessna aircraft in Wichita, production controller at Boeing aircraft in Macon, GA and customer service clerk at McLane Southeast in Athens, GA. Sheri was very creative and talented enjoying arts and crafts, genealogy, cooking, gardening, quilting and beading. She was a friend to everyone she met. Besides her family she was passionate about animal cruelty and volunteered to foster dogs and helped care for stray dogs after Hurricane Katrina.
She is survived by her husband Chris Schultheis of the home, brother Zane Shankar of Wichita, KS; daughter Jacqua Garcia of Newton, KS, son John Forbis of Newton, KS and daughter Jeri Marcum and husband Brad of Warner Robins, GA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Emilia "Emi" Brown, Eelicia "E.C." Garcia, Elias "Soppo" Garcia, Erica Canler, Jonie Ray Forbis, Brad Marcum, Corey Marcum and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Dana Lucas (2009), Welda Heinrich (2014), Melody Brown (2007) and grandson Zane Forbis-Burgardt (2013).
