Sharon Threlkeld Wright

Sharon Threlkeld Wright, 74, wife of 48 years to Wallace G. Wright, Jr., died on Friday, December 13, 2024.

Sharon was born in Athens, GA to the late James Threlkeld and Alene Turner Threlkeld. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Heath and grandson, Andrew Carter. She is survived by her spouse of 48 years, Wallace G. Wright, Jr.; her son Russell Wright, son and his wife, Matthew and Dana Wright; daughter and her husband Jill & Tim Carter; daughter and her husband Tiffany and Scott Hubbard; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She worked for the office of admissions at Emory University for 28 years and retired after 8 years from West Broward Highschool in Pembroke Pines, Florida. She was an active member of The Cross Loganville.

Sharon enjoyed crafting, cooking and baking, but most of all she enjoyed and took pride in spoiling her grandchildren before she had to send them home. Her husband Wallace was the love of her life here on earth, but most of all she loved the Lord.

A Celebration of Life service December 28 at 12:00 at The Cross Loganville.
