Shane Guest

David Shane Guest, beloved father, son and brother, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the age of 53.

Born in Killeen, Texas, he was a son of Larry David Guest and the late Sandra Helen Venable. Shane was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Desert Storm, Kuwait and Iraq. He enjoyed fishing, building something out of nothing and tinkering in his garage. Shane thrived on time spent with friends, family and most importantly, his daughters. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Guest.

Survivors in addition to his father include two daughters, Brittany Nicole Guest and Michaela Ashley Guest and two siblings, Ray Poulnott, Jr. (Deean) and Crystal Lewis.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East with Dr. Stewart Sims officiating. Interment will follow in the Winterville Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Following the service, the family will would like to invite everyone to G. Brand BBQ, a ten minute drive from the cemetery,1140 Athens Road, Crawford, GA 30630.
