Sea Willow Nichols

Sea Willow Nichols died Saturday, May 2, 2015.
Born in Ila, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charlotte Whitworth and Hoke Hampton Whitworth. She was preceeded in death by her husband Charles Ward Nichols and her sister Sue Kennon.
After graduation from Bogart High School, she attended Tift College for Women in Forsyth, Georgia.
Mrs Nichols was active in First Baptist Church, Athens, serving as WMU President and working with youth. She was a member of the State PTA Board. She and her husband Charlie were active with the development of the Athens Girls and Boys Clubs for several decades.
She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Nichols Ramsey (Henry) and grandson Charles Daniel Uter (Stephanie) of Bozeman, Montana.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Baxley and Dr. Frank Granger officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 355 Pulaski St., Athens, GA 30601.
Lord and Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
