Athens - Scott Alan Morgan, 48, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Athens Regional Medical Center .
Born in Annapolis , Maryland , he was the son of Gilma Sinclair Morgan and the late Daniel T. W. Morgan II. He was also preceded in death by his brother Mark A. Morgan. Scott was a diehard Georgia Bull Dog Fan and loved fishing and music.
Scott was a truly loving person that surpassed all riches. He especially loved his wife who has been there with him through thick and thin. His greatest love was for his five children.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his wife; Sheri Darlene Morgan, children: Chad Allen Morgan, Jessica Nicole Morgan, Brandon Scott Morgan, Britney Alise Morgan, & Wesley Anderson Morgan; brothers and sisters: Daniel T. W. Morgan III, Paula Dansker, Sinclair Avery Morgan, Michelle Annette Smith, Cynthia Morgan Stewart, Gregory Andrew Morgan and Keith Alexander Morgan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the funeral home. The family has requested that everyone attending the visitation and funeral service wear red and black in memory of Scotts love for the Bull Dogs.
Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
