Scott Gaines Chandler, 45, of Winterville, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017.
He was the son of George Herbert Chandler and Patsy Johns Chandler. Scott attended Athens Technical College, and was employed with Pep Boys Automotive for over 17 years. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilson and Margaret Johns and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Snow Chandler.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Herron Chandler; one son, Trenton Chandler; one step daughter, Brittany Wheeler and her daughter, Kayleigh Fortner; one brother, Brett Chandler, his wife Tia and their daughter, Meg.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at the home of George and Patsy Chandler, 106 S. Main Street, Winterville, GA 30683. Memorial services will be private.
