Mr. Scott Daniel Allan, 51, of Statham, Ga. passed away June 17, 2010 after a brave battle with cancer.
The son of Edward and Lynne Allan was born in Augsberg, Germany in 1959 while his father was in the military. His younger years were spent in Brightwaters, NY and his family moved to Boynton Beach, Fl in 1970. In 1995, Scott and his family relocated to Oconee County Georgia. Scott started working with Publix Supermarkets in 1992 and has been a Construction Supervisor for many years. He was also an active firefighter with the Oconee County Fire Department since 2001. Of all the things he enjoyed in life, his family was most important. His daughter Danielle was his pride and joy and light of his life. Mr. Allan was preceded in death by his father Edward Allan and his mother in law Gerry Krupa.
Funeral services will be Tuesday June 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at Briarwood Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday June 21, 2010 at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home West.
Survivors include his Wife, Laurie Allan, Statham, daughter Danielle Allan, Statham, mother Lynne Allan, Sebastian Florida, brothers Craig Allan, Georgetown, Texas and Dean Allan Sebastian, Florida. Brother in Law, Michael Krupa, Pensacola Florida, and Father in law Robert Krupa, Wellington, Florida and many other relatives that were also dear friends. He will be missed forever and his memory will be cherished b all who knew him.
