Sara Liliana McAndrew

December 13, 1982 — November 24, 2022

On Thursday, November 24, 2022, Sara Liliana McAndrew, 39, went to fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore in God's presence. She was a Godly wife of 12 years to Scott Michael McAndrew with whom she created a home in Watkinsville together alongside their 3-year-old son Michael Caleb McAndrew. Liliana was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, she was the daughter of Oscar David Perez and Alma Perez de la Cruz.

Liliana and Scott met in 2008 and were married on April 17, 2010. Liliana was a wonderful godly wife. She was kind and compassionate, talented and sweet. She consistently encouraged Scott, and supported him in his ministry.

Liliana was a stay at home mother to Michael. No one loved Michael more than Liliana. She was fun and creative. She was faithful to pray for Michael, and she was faithful to point Michael to Jesus and the hope of the gospel.

Liliana was a faithful member of North Avenue Church. She invested deeply into the lives of so many people at her church. She hosted book clubs in her home, and led a group of ladies through probably more than 10 books over the last several years. She loved to serve the Lord with the gifts God had given her.

Although she lived in America for the past twelve-and-a-half years, she enjoyed having the opportunity to visit her family back home in Guatemala, whom she loved dearly, as often as she could.

Liliana fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith.

Survivors in addition to her parents, husband Scott, and son Michael, include her brother: Oscar David Perez, JR.; father in law and mother in law: Bob and Phyllis McAndrew and brothers in law and sisters in law; Chris and Heather McAndrew and Mark and Kelly McAndrew.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 10:00 AM at North Avenue Church which currently is gathering at Central Baptist Church, 720 Danielsville Road, Athens, GA. Interment will follow at Farmington Cemetery.
