Sarah M. Turner, 68, died April 26, 2010.
A native of Madison County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late James H. and Clara Smith Murray and the widow of Larry Turner. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lottie Cole; and a granddaughter, Liv Turner. Mrs. Turner was a lifelong member of MoonÕs Grove Baptist Church and retired from Merrill Lynch after forty-two years.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at 2 p.m. at MoonÕs Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Fuller officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Anna Turner of Hull and Brian and Tracey Turner of Colbert; two sisters, Robena Simmons of Comer and Margaret Shelton of Hull; brother, Kenneth Murray of Helen; and five grandchildren.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society .
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
