Athens, GA - Sarah L. Morrison, 75, passed away November 5, 2008.
Born in Richwood, WV, Mrs. Morrison was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mabel Brown Dotson. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Eugene W. Morrison. Her home for over 50 years was St. Albans, WV, where she was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church. She was a dedicated employee of the Kanawha County School System for over twenty years.
Interment will be in West Virginia at a later date.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Bill Ross of Athens; son and daughter-in-law, Windell and MaryLynn Morrison of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Barbara Robinson, Ginny Margolis, both of WV, Peggy Bullard of Cincinnati, OH; brother, Bill Dotson of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Katie (Tracy) Cato, Will (Bethany) Ross, Bryan Morrison, Matthew Morrison, several nieces and nephews and special caregiver, Betty Clarke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Hospice, 435 Hawthorne Ave., Athens, GA 30606.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
