Sarah (Nabors) Jarrett

August 22, 1929 — October 30, 2015

Sarah Nabors Jarrett, 86, left her earthly home and entered her heavenly home with family and friends on Friday, October 30, 2015.

Mrs. Jarrett was born in Atlanta to the late James Oscar and Edna Davis Nabors. She was a member of Moons Grove Baptist Church. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Jarrett; sisters, Lee Bond, Vivian Evans, Hazel Bullock and Ruth Fowler; brothers, J.W., Broughton, Bubber Nabors and Henry Edward.

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley J. Massey, Susan J. (Ken) Crocker, all of Commerce; sons, Robbie (Diane) Jarrett of Hull and Randy Jarrett of Carnesville; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

The children would like to offer a very special thank you with their love to Bonnie Stovall and Connie Spain, as well as Halcyon and Gentiva Hospice, for the wonderful care of their mother.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at 1:30 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Interment will follow at Moons Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated, but those desiring may make donations to Athens Botanical Gardens.

Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
