Sarah Frances Davis

Sarah Frances Davis, 85, wife of the late Elmer Leroy Davis, died Saturday, November 17, 2012.
A life long resident of Bogart, GA, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Minnie Bell Stephens McElhannon. She was a homemaker and member of Living Word Baptist Church. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son Phillip Darryl Davis and brother, Carlton McElhannon. .
Survivors include her daughter; Karen (Bill) Walinow of Athens; sisters: Barbara McCoy of Mt. Airy, GA, Geraldine Hart of Cornelia, Ga.; grandchildren: Heather (Michael) Toci, Heath (Angela) Smart, Angie
(Adam) Olson, Pam Hunsinger; and 13 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Living Word Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Crosby and Rev. Larry Davison officiating. Pallbearers will be Deacons of the Church.
Burial will follow at Whitworth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Helping Hands Food Bank or Living Word Academy of Living Word Baptist Church, 2761 Monroe Highway, Bogart, GA 30622.
