Watkinsville - Sandra "Sandy" Jean Kish Corbin, 43, of Watkinsville, Ga., died March 10, 2009, at Athens Regional Medical Center due to complications of pneumonia. She was born July 31, 1965, in East Chicago, Ind., and moved to Athens, Ga., in 1975. She graduated from Clarke Central High School. She earned a Degree in Psychology in June of 1993 from the University of Georgia. Sandy was dedicated to her family and church. She worked at Faith Presbyterian Church in the Mothers Morning Out program. She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Paul Kish. Survivors include her husband, Andrew Corbin; her two children, Isabella and Lucas; mother and stepfather, Jean (Turner) and Roger Horton Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Amber Turner; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Lori Kish; and many loved friends and other family members.
The visitation will be held at Lord and Stephens, WEST, Bogart, between 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Friday March 13, 2009. The services will be held at Watkinsville First Baptist Church at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2009. Flowers are optional; donations in her memory may be made to Watkinsville First Baptist Church.
