Sandra McKinney Puckett Samples

Sandra McKinney Puckett Samples passed away on Monday, September 23.  Sandra was born on May 29, 1944 in Birmingham, AL to Louise Lowery McKinney and Adrien O’Neal McKinney.

Sandra met the Lord when she was 13 and was baptized at Peachtree Baptist Church.  Sandra was a huge Elvis fan, loved all of his music.  Sandra went to Southwest DeKalb High School and graduated from Cosmetology School.  She was a retired hairdresser.

Her favorite thing to do was to have her family over any time and especially on holidays, where she always had her favorites, and the families, ham, turkey and dressing, potato salad and her famous Cranberry Whipped Salad. She always loved cooking.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Puckett.  She is survived by her four children, Erik Storm, Angel and Chuck Curry, Staci Puckett and Payse and Cynthia Puckett.  Her grandchildren, Brandon & Rachel Farmer, Brett Farmer, Hayli & Kyle Pflaume, Destinee Wilson.  Corey & Brittany Busbee, Siara Morgan and Gunnar Morgan.  Tristan and Talon Puckett.  Three great-grandchildren.  Sisters, Peggy & Richard Baines and Teresa Coor.  A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
