Sandra Rawlings Jorgensen

Sandra Rawlings "Granna" Jorgensen, 76, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Born in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charles William Rawlings and Nelle Hodges Rawlings. She retired from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Radiology Department after 20 years. She also worked as an EMT and enjoyed be a substitute teacher after retirement. Survivors include three children: Kimber Lee Fluri of Bishop, Darby Lauren MacQueen of Athens and Chadwick Richard Jorgensen of Watkinsville; grandchildren: Lauren Sandra Tiller, Layne Ashlynn Piedmont and Avery Ruth Jorgensen; great grandson: Sullivan James Tiller and her four legged friend Pupsy. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Lord & Stephens East. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Athens Area Humane Society. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
