Sandra Hardeman

Comer - Sandra Alice Hardeman, 65, died December 27, 2005.
A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of Beulah Benton Hammond of Comer, and the late Paul Hammond. She was a graduate of Madison County High School and Athens Business School. Mrs. Hardeman was the music teacher at Comer Elementary School for five years and secretary at Hardeman Insurance Agency, Inc. in Colbert for many years. She was Past President of the Pilot Club of Madison County and a member of the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Hardeman was a member of Comer Baptist Church for over fifty years, where she was a former Sunday School teacher and organist.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29, 2005, at 2:00 PM at Comer Baptist Church. Pastor Rodney Owens, Rev. Jerry Ediger, and Rev. Stuart Lang will officiate. Interment will be in Comer Cemetery.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Hardeman is survived by her husband, Allen Erwin Hardeman; two daughters, Terri Hardeman Seagraves, and husband, Howell of Ila, and Paula Hardeman Drake, and husband, Curtis of Comer; four grandchildren, Alicia Seagraves, Mallory Seagraves, Blaine Seagraves, and Autumn Drake.
Active deacons of Comer Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be inactive deacons of Comer Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
