Athens - Sally Christine Wood, 90, wife of the late Herman Wood, died Friday, February 29, 2008 at BJC Nursing Home.
Born in Hall County, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Mary Tanner Posey. Mrs. Wood was a member of Center Methodist Church. She was a Home Make and Seamstress.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 3PM at Center Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 prior to the services at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, William Wood of Athens, GA, sister, Edna Sailors of Athens, granddaughter, Traci Banks and great granddaughter, Whitney Sanders.
Lord & Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.
