Sally Ann Norton, 62, wife of the late Clinton Fair Norton, Sr., died Saturday, April 18, 2009.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 3PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Bob Murphy and Rev. Dan Maxey officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park . Pallbearers will be Casey Nelson, Chris Clark, Gary Mason, Mike Mason, Jimmy Brown and Robert Harris.
A native of Starr , SC , she was the daughter of the late Frank Mitchell Freeman and Levvie McElhannon Freeman. She was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church and retired form DuPont as a machine operator.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Clinton "Tony" F. and Beth Norton, Jr. of Athens , daughter, A. Marie Norton of Watkinsville; sisters: Deenie Freeman Jordan of Munford , TN , Josephine Freeman Mason, Nashville , TN ; grandchildren: Mitchell O.J. Norton, Justin T. Norton, Mackenzie L. Norton, Katie C. Norton, Jesse W. Norton and Jake W. Stancil.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ride For Kids, c/o Lee Tench, P.O. Box 381 , Statham , GA 30666 .
