Sally Martin

Sally Brown Martin, 87, died April 26, 2015.
A native of Hull, GA, she was a lifelong resident of this area. She was the daughter of O. D. and Roberta Martin Brown and was preceded in death by two brothers, Garnett D. Brown and Roscoe Charles Brown. She retired from the University of Georgia and was a supportive and lifelong member of Hull Baptist Church where she was active in many capacities over the years. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife of sixty-seven years to Ovin Martin, who passed away in 2012, as well as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Hull Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Interment will follow at Old Hull Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Survivors include three children, Barbara (Lanier) Whitehead, Charles (June) Martin and Jackie (Terry) McElroy; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Hull Baptist Church Perpetual Care Fund.
