Sadie G. Thaxton, 76, died July 14, 2006.
Born in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Lizzie Graham. She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 17, 2006 at 10:30 AM at Trinity Baptist Church with Revs. Jim Phillips, Bill Ricketts and Paul Downey officiating. Interment will be in Clark Cemetery, Lexington.
Survivors include her husband, Lewis Thaxton; sons, Raymond (Kathie) Thaxton, Byron (Angela) Thaxton, Greg (Cindy) Thaxton and Travis (Holly) Thaxton; sister, Martha Warren of Gordon, GA; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
