Crawford - Sadie Davison Christy, 94, wife of the late James E. Christy, died Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Quiet Oaks Nursing Home.
Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late John Dillard and Dora King Davison. She was a member Crawford Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was also preceded in death by her son Jerry D. Christy.
Survivors include her son, Edgar D. Christy of Lexington, sisters; Mamie Pledger of Arnoldsville, Jessie Coile of Comer, grandchildren, William Tim Christy, Jerry D. Christy, Jr., Donna Cofer, and great grandchildren, Reilly Christy and Blake Christy.
Funeral services were October 9, 2006 at 11AM at Crawford Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. B.G. Miller and Rev. Larry Davison officiating. Burial was at Crawford Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
